Hole-in-One for CRCFL!

Don "Skip" Fox (r) presenting a donation to Bob Riter, Acting Executive Director of the Cancer Resource Center, in honor of Skip's hole-in-one on July 29 at Stone Hedge Golf Club in Groton, NY.

Skip, age 79, recently completed treatment for cancer and has had many loved ones affected by the disease, including his long-time companion, Margaret Parmley, who died last year.

Rather than buying the customary round for everyone in the clubhouse, he decided to make a donation to us. He'd like to inspire other athletes - of any age - to commemorate their special achievements by donating to their favorite charity.

In addition to the hole-in-one, Skip recently scored under his age on two recent golf outings - a 77 on July 9 and a 76 on July 16.

Thank you, Skip - and congratulations!
