We are looking for performers to entertain & encourage the nearly 1,500 walkers & runners, and their families at various locations around Cass Park’s Waterfront Trail from 10-11am during our Annual Walk/5K Run on Sat, October 5th. Pink Badges for Breast Cancer Awareness

​October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so the officers from the University Police Department will be wearing pink badge pins as part of their uniform to raise awareness. Last year, the department began participating in “No Shave November” to help raise awareness for cancer by growing out their facial hair during the month of November.



The Great Ithaca Bake-Off 9/15

Get out your measuring cups and put on your apron, it’s time to warm up your competitive baking skills! In conjunction with Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport’s Airport Day, Ithaca Sunrise Rotary is hosting our first Great Ithaca Bake-Off! Local professional bakers will bring samples of their treats–cakes, cookies/brownies, pies–and will be judged by a panel

We provided information and general support to over 3,500 individuals. We reserved 452 rides to and from NYC through Cornell’s Campus to Campus bus. We provided financial advocacy and assistance to 194 individuals. We facilitated nine support groups that met 141 times. Friendly Correspondent Program

Our Friendly Correspondent Program is a support service we offer to individuals with cancer that may be socially isolated, but still want to have some connection and support from our agency. Volunteers and college students send ‘thinking of you’ cards and notes out to these individuals that could benefit from a kind word and encouraging
