We often receive calls from individuals who wish to donate hair that can be made into wigs for people with cancer or other types of hair loss.

Locks of Love

What they do: Provides wigs to kids (younger than age 21) in the U.S. and Canada who suffer from long-term medical hair loss.

Minimum hair length to donate: 10 inches

They accept:

  • Colored Hair
  • Layered Hair (layers must be at least 10 inches)
  • Gray Hair

Wigs for Kids

What they do: Donates wigs to financially disadvantages children across the U.S. who suffer from long-term medical hair loss.

Minimum hair length: 12 inches

Pantene-Beautiful Lengths

What they do: Pantene partners with the American Cancer Society by donating free wigs to the American Cancer Society’s wig bank. The wigs go to cancer patients in the U.S.

Minimum hair length: 8 inches

They accept:

  • Colored hair
  • Layered hair (Longest layer must be at least 10 inches)
  • Gray hair

Children With Hair Loss

What they do: Children With Hair Loss was created as a resource for all children who have medically-related hair loss, and are not financially able to get the hair they want and/or need.

Minimum hair length: 8 inches.
